Weber Pianos

The affordable Weber piano line is produced by the Young Chang company in China and South Korea.  Many piano manufacturers produce entry level instruments in Asia e.g. Steinway's Essex pianos are made in China by Pearl River, Steinway's Boston pianos are made by Kawai in Japan. 

In 2008 Young Chang hired world famous American piano designer Delwin D. Fandrich to redesign the Young Chang and Weber piano lines. As a result, new Weber pianos now feature upgraded cast-iron plates, string scales, rib designs and tapered soundboards. A new benchmark has been set by Young Chang. 

Albert Weber pianos feature state of the art German Renner actions and German Renner hammers. Directly comparable to Yamaha and Kawai, Albert Weber pianos are ranked higher in manufacturing quality, tone and touch than other Chinese and Korean manufacturers. Quick fact: not all Yamaha and Kawai pianos are made in Japan. Most entry level Yamaha pianos are built in China and Kawai entry level pianos are manufactured in a factory in Indonesia.
