Sauter Accento

Sauter Accento is a beautiful Peter Maly design, cubist and accented, whose contours are evocative of the archetypal bridge, with superb Sauter quality craftsmanship.

Accento’s wooden body in the shape of a bridge frames a glossy front panel, allowing for interesting combinations of materials and colors. It is available with or without chromed steel consoles beneath the niched keyboard.

The Boganyi piano was designed by Hungarian pianist Gergely Bogányi, Recognized for its distinctive high tech shape and unique use of carbon fiber materials, this sleek performance grand piano is available in two concert grand sizes.

A New Grand Piano Engineered to Bend Dimension and Sound

Boganyi pianos have ushered in a new era of grand piano design. These pianos engineered to bend dimension and sound are the result of a collaboration between two Hungarian masters; concert pianist Gergely Bogányi and industrial designer Péter Üveges famous for his guitars.

Constructed of high tech carbon fiber with an enlarged carbon fiber soundboard (guaranteed for 100 years) Boganyi pianos are, because of this, much less susceptible to the effects of humidity and temperature changes. Boganyi pianos are a testament to thinking outside the box.

The Baldwin Acrosonic from the 1960s may have been the inspiration for this piano, but the Echo™ is nothing like the old consoles and spinets of the past. Though created here on earth by humans of Fazioli – M Liminal found it’s most recognizable home among the stars, on the spaceship of Ridley Scott’s movie, Prometheus.

The floating effect of M Liminal is achieved by it’s unique case architecture and material. The single wave of a side panel sweeps up from the keyboard in a dramatic curve thinning out towards the end. Thus M Liminal ‘plunges’ into the air like a dolphin.

The single specially designed carbon fiber pedestal supports this Fazioli grand piano. The exposed silver ‘belly’ of the case contrasts the high-gloss polish of the veneer of the case giving M Liminal an effect of lightness and streamlining.

The gleaming black lacquer of the inside of the case as well the black painted soundboard creates a unique two-tone exterior of M Liminal. The transparent lucite of the music stand and support rod allow the eyes to appreciate the singularity of M Liminal’s form.

Open the lid and set sail on the mythical journey as M Liminal transforms into ethereal sailboat navigating the seas of your imagination.

Blackened steel legs are slender and functional connected in the front by a horizontal rod that houses pedal lyra. The geometrical simplicity of the angles is simple yet luxurious.

The reinterpreted side keyboard panels are slanted verticalities that keep the keyboard housed within the cloister of the piano, revealing just a glimpse of the black and white terrain.

The single groove tracing the outer sides of the legs runs over the lid of the modern grand piano thus circumnavigating the entire piano’s body as though a ribbon. A simple touch that makes a universe of difference. The contrasting steel squares accentuate the classic curves of the piano shape while forming a perfect ensemble with the pewter steel of the metal frame and other hardware.

While bowing to less-is-more philosophy Sauter Vivace is rich in invention and daring in execution thus appealing to a techno dreamer that lives in all lovers of modern grand piano design.

The legs are thin straight square columns that allow our gaze to concentrate on the new silhouette of the piano’s body.

The space between the outside curve and the strung iron frame create an elliptical enclosure where the lid support rests. The support rod can rotate and adjusts to different heights.

The thin chrome ribbon runs along the body drawing our eye to the clean shape it outlines, echoed by the similar accent on the lower part of the legs.

The pedal lyra is realized in brushed steel. It’s simple elongated U-shape evokes the elements of Art Deco style through the prism of a minimalistic esthetic.

The slanted front panel of the keyboard is another simple yet unique design feature of Sauter Ambiente. It created impression of fluidity of form that gives Sauter Ambiente a very contemporary and chic character. The high-gloss finish in combination with chrome and steel hardware contribute to the two-tone elegance of Art Deco while the design itself puts Sauter Ambiente on the front lines of modernaity and avant garde.
